The Pirates beat the Astros, 11-4. Michael Bourn was 1 for 3 and a sacrifice bunt on the afternoon for Houston.
The Reds edged the Blue Jays, 6-5 in 10 innings. Matt Maloney threw 1 inning in relief, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, striking out 1 for Cincinnati, and Randy Ruiz pinch hit and struck out for Toronto.
