The BlueClaws have activated Ryan Ariail from the DL, and Walter Tejeda has been promoted to Clearwater.
Also, Orlando Guevara, who joined the team in Hickory just in time to take a 10-hour bus ride back to New Jersey, has been transferred to Reading to replace Kevin Nelson, and catcher Brendan Akashain has joined the team from extended spring training.
