Randy Ruiz (.306) had 2 hits and drove in his 37th run of the season for Las Vegas in the 51s' 8-5 loss to New Orleans. In Reno, Chris Roberson entered a tie game in the bottom of the 9th inning as a pinch runner and scored the game winning run for the Aces in their 5-4 victory over Oklahoma City. Greg Golson (.278) had a triple in 5 at bats for the RedHawks.
In Midland, the Rock Hounds outscored Corpus Christi 10-7. Adrian Cardenas (.389) was 1 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI. Matt Spencer did not play for Midland. "Spence" is hitting .244 in 10 games since his promotion from Stockton. (ask and you shall receive, Legger!)
