Maloney sharp

Monday night in Louisville, Matt Maloney showed his good form again, throwing 7 shut out innings against Scranton, in Louisville's 3-0 win over the Yankees. Maloney allowed just 4 hits and 1 walk, striking out 10, to improve to 3-1, 2.89 on the year.

Gavin Floyd was not so sharp. The Cleveland Indians roughed up Gavin Monday afternoon, getting to the big righthander for 8 runs on 11 hits and 3 walks en route to a 9-4 win over the White Sox. Floyd is now 2-3, with a 7.32 ERA. Ouch!!
