The Phillies have placed Brett Myers on the 15-day disabled list and recalled Sergio Escalona from Lehigh Valley. Late last night, the Phillies announced they will call up Antonio Bastardo on Tuesday morning to make the start Myers would have been in line for. It remains to be seen whether Bastardo will stay with the big club, or if they will seek another solution.
With the addition of Bastardo and Escalona, there will be 6 former BlueClaws on the Phillies active roster. Hamels, Happ, Howard and Ruiz are the other 4.
