I was in Trenton last night to see the Reading Phillies, down 3-0 after 5, rally for an exciting 6-5 win over the Thunder. Lots of contributions from HomeSiders. Tim Kennelly got the go-ahead hit, a 2-out, 2-run double in the top of the 8th, and Quintin Berry (double, run scored, stolen base #41), Mike Spidale (single, walk, stolen base, 2 runs scored, RBI), Domonic Brown (single, walk, stolen base, run scored) and Steve Susdorf (single, runs scored RBI) all contributed to rallies.
Mike Stutes went the first 6 innings, receiving no decision, Mike Zagurski threw a scoreless 7th and was the beneficiary of the winning runs, Sergio Escalona came on and threw 1.2 frames, 2 errors hurting his cause, and B.J. Rosenberg got the final out to record the save!!
