Taylor homers again

The IronPigs scored 4 in the top of the 1st on their way to 12-6 win in Buffalo Friday. Michael Taylor had 3 more hits, including his 5th homer for the Pigs, raising his AAA average to .290 and Tuffy Gosewisch, promoted yesterday made his debut (he was 0 for 5). Lehigh Valley improved to 58-61 on the year.

In Syracuse, Zack Segovia picked up his 3rd save for the Chiefs in their 4-3 win over Rochester. After a couple of outings this week where he allowed runs, Zack has bounced back with clean innings, 1 Thursday and 1 Friday, and has a 2.12 ERA since joining the AAA affiliate of the Nationals.

On Thursday in Columbus, Jason Donald had 2 singles and a double and scored 3 runs in the Clipper's 7-6 win over Indianapolis. Lou Marson added an RBI double and scored a run to contribute to the cause.

Friday night in Memphis, Adrian Cardenas was 3 for 4, including a double, and scored 2 runs for Sacramento in the River Cats' 7-4 loss to the Red Birds. In Las Vegas, Kevin Howard belted a bases loaded double, driving in 3 runs in the 51s 4-run rally, but Albuquerque scored 6 in the 10th to take a 12-6 decision. Kevin now has 49 RBI for the 51s.
