In Milwaukee, Domonic Brown (.269) had 3 hits and 4 RBI, and Kyle Kendrick threw 8 shut out inning to win his 3rd start in a row, as the Phillies beat the Brewers, 8-0. Brown walked and scored in the 2nd inning, doubled in 3 runs in the 3rd, hit a bullet into double play in the 5th, singled and scored in the 8th, and drove in a run with another single in the 9th. It was easily the best game of his career to date. Kendrick (6-9, 4.20) in the meantime, was mowing down the Brewers, allowing just 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 7, as he continues to make a play for a spot in next year's rotation. Ryan Howard (.246) also had 2 hits and scored a run for the Phillies.
The victory for Kendrick was #54 for HomeSiders in the major leagues this year.

That's 2 in a row since being designated for assignment and then being recalled last week for "Z-man".............In Oakland, Lou Marson (.236) was 0 for 3 for the Indians, who were beaten 7-0 by the Athletics.
