Tyler Cloyd has been called up to start tonight's game for the Phillies against the Mets in place of Cole Hamels, who is sick with a stomach virus. I am sure he will take the roster spot of Vance Worley, who will have season ending surgery on his pitching elbow within the next 10 days.
When Cloyd takes the mound, he will become the 47th former BlueClaw to play in the major leagues, and the 8th to make his debut this season.
