Thursday in Milwaukee, Ryan Howard (.230) had 3 hits and drove in a run for the Phillies, but Philadelphia lost to the Brewers, 7-4.  Domonic Brown (.255) added a hit, aw alk, and a run scored for the Phils..........In Toronto, the White Sox topped the Blue Jays, 7-2.  Anthony Gose came into the game as a pinch runner, and promptly stole his 8th base to put the tying run in scoring position.  The Jays could not cash him in, and the Sox broke open the game with 4 late runs............In Cincinnati, the Mets got the best of the Reds, 8-4.  Alfredo Simon (2.20) faced 5 hitters and retired 4 of them, 2 with strike outs..........In Atlanta, the Braves used 2 home run from Chipper Jones to defeat San Diego, 6-0.  Michael Bourn (.290) was 1 for 5 and scored a run for the Braves.
