Friday night in Tacoma, Andy Baldwin pitched well, but not well enough to win. Baldwin went 8 innings against Portland and allowed 5 runs, only 3 earned on 6 hits and 1 walk, striking out 6 in Portland's 8-4 win. Andy is now 5-6, with a 4.78 ERA for the Seattle affiliate.
In Las Vegas, Chris Roberson (.290) had 2 more hits, scored a run, and stole his 13th base as the Reno Aces topped the 51s, 3-1. Bobby Korecky recorded his 13th save for the Arizona farm team. Randy Ruiz had 2 more hits for Vegas, knocking in the only run, his 71 RBI.
