Reds edge Threshers, Galvis and Brown return

The Sarasota Reds scored 2 runs in the top of the 12th inning to take a 4-3 win over Clearwater Saturday night. The game was highlighted by the return of Freddy Galvis and Dominic Brown to the Thresher's line up. Galvis celebrated with a single and a double, and Brown had a single and an RBI. Steve Susdorf (.414, 2 singles, run), Joel Naughton (2 singles, 2 RBI) , and Matt Rizzotti (.243, single, double, run) all had 2 hits for Clearwater.

Drew Naylor started and threw well. In 7 innings, Drew allowed just 2 runs, only 1 earned, on 6 hits, NO walks, and left the game in a 2-2 tie. Carlos Monasterios logged 2 scoreless innings, and Michael Schwimer struck out 5 of the 6 hitters he faced, before Chris Kissock (1-5, 3.48) gave up the winning runs in the 12th.
