The Columbus Clippers scored in the 10th inning to give themselves a 5-4 win in Allentown on Thursday. With former IronPigs Jason Donald and Lou Marson both in the starting line-up for Columbus, it was easy to have mixed emotions. Forget that, I was rooting for my guys!! Jason and Lou each had a single and a walk, Lou scoring a run in their first win with their new team.
Drew Carpenter went the first 5 for Lehigh Valley and gave up just 1 run on 5 hits and 2 walks. Francisco Butto suffered through 1.2 inning, giving up 3 runs, and despite 2 shut out frames from Alex Concepcion, the IronPigs 7-game home winning streak was over.
Michael Taylor had a single and a double and continues to adjust to his new league.
In case you missed it, tonight Pedro Martinez for the Pigs v Carlos Carrasco for Columbus.
