Floyd not quite good enough

In Arlington Sunday night, Gavin Floyd was very good, but suffered a loss to the Texas Rangers as the Sox were shut out, 2-0.  Gavin (8-9) went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs, just 1 earned on 7 hits and 5 walks against the Rangers.  Good enough on most nights, but not this one.

In Toronto, Anthony Gose had a hit and stole his 2nd base for the Blue Jays, but the Tigers prevailed, 4-1..........In Atlanta, the Braves completed the sweep of the Phillies, 6-2, dropping them to 45-57, and probably making them sellers over the next day and a half until the trade deadline.  Look for Victorino, Pence, and possible Blanton to be moved.
