Travis d'Arnaud, who has been as hot as anybody all season long, has torn the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and could be out anywhere from 6-8 weeks. This will preclude him from playing in both the AAA All-Star game in Buffalo, and the Future Stars Games in Kansas City. Travis in hitting .333, with 16 home runs and 52 RBI for the Las Vegas 51s this season, and was certainly looking at a late season call up at some point this summer.
The only good part of the diagnosis is that it is a surgery-free rehab.
