Gose streak to 15

With rain covering a large part of the country, there were many game cancelled,  but here are Friday highlights:


In Tucson, Anthony Gose extended his hitting streak to 15 games, with 4 hits, including a double, drove in a run and scored 4 times for the 51s in their 11-1 win over the Padres.  Anthony is now hitting .307 for the year.  Travis d'Arnaud picked up an RBI with a sacrifice fly.........In Sacramento, Michael Taylor  (.303) had a single and 2 walks, and scored a run for the River Cats, in their 10-7 win over Fresno..............In Gwinnett, the Braves beat Charlotte, 10-3.  Greg Golson had a single and a double and drove in 2 of the runs for the Knights.

In New Britain, Matt Rizzotti (.245) had 2 doubles and drove in 2 runs for the Rock Cats as New Britain topped Harrisburg, 10-3.........In North Little Rock, Jonathan Singleton (.317) had a double, a walk, and his 11th home run of the year, as the Corpus Christi Hooks defeated the Travelers, 3-1.  Josh Zeid notched his first save with a 1-2-3 9th inning.
