not much on Tuesday


In Sacramento, Michael Taylor (.318) had 2 hits, scored a run and drove in 2 for the River Cats in their 10-7 win over Fresno..........In Toledo, the IronPigs defeated the Mud Hens, 2-1.  Steve Susdorf (.293) had the only 2-hit game for Lehigh Valley.........In Manchester, Sebastian Valle had 2 hits, including his 8th home run  of the year, and drove in 2 runs, but the R-Phils dropped a 4-3 decision to the Fisher Cats.  Trevor May (6-5) was the starter, going 5 innings and allowing 4 runs on 7 hits and 3 walks, striking out 6.  Colby Shreve retired the final 4 hitters.......In Clearwater, Chase Utley had 2 hits, and the Threshers got themselves a walkoff win, 3-2 over Dunedin.  Jesse Biddle started and went 5, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks, but Ryan Duke, Hecor Neris and Tyler Knigge threw scoreless relief, Knigge getting his 4th win, and lowering his season ERA to 0.77!!
