In Toronto, the Blue Jays defeated the Phillies and Kyle Kendrick, 6-2. Kyle (2-7) went 6.1 innings, giving up 6 runs, 5 earned, on 8 hits and 2 walks, striking out 4. Jacob Diekman came in and got the last 2 outs of the 7th, allowing a hit and an inherited runner to score.
In Cleveland, the Pirates defeated the Indians, 9-5. Lou Marson (.254) had a hit and 2 walks, and scored a run for the Tribe........In Atlanta, the Braves were shut out again, this time Michael Bourn (.313) went 1 for 4, and has now hit in 15 of the last 16.
