Gavin wins

In Chicago, Gavin Floyd ended his losing streak with 6.1 innings of shut out ball against the Cubs.  Floyd (5-7) allowed just 4 hits and 1 walk, striking out 4 as the Sox beat their cross town rivals, 7-0.  It was the 33rd win in the major for HomeSiders this year.

In New York, Michael Bourn (.310) had a hit, stole his 18th and scored a run for the Braves as Atlanta stopped the Yankees winning streak, 10-5.............In Phoenix, the Diamondbacks outscored the Mariners, 14-10.  Mike Zagurski was roughed up to the tune of 4 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks in just .2 of an inning.  Yikes!!...............In Cleveland, the Indians beat the Reds, 8-1.  Lou Marson had a walk in 4 at bats, and threw out a runner attempted to steal second for Cleveland, and   Alfredo Simon (1.98) allowed 3 UNearned runs on 3 hits and 2 walks in 2.2 innings of relief for Cincinnati. ...........In Philadelphia, the Phillies rallied for 2 in the bottom of the 9th inning after 2 were out to take a 7-6 win from Colorado.  Antonio Bastardo (2.42)  threw another scoreless inning for the Phillies..........In Detroit, Quintin Berry (.322) had a rare 0 for 4 day, as the Tigers were shut down by Jake Westbrook and the Cardinals, 3-1.............
