3 starts, 1 win

In Chicago Wednesday, the Phillies explosws for 6 in the 9th to put awat a close game and beat the Cubs, 9-2.  Carlo Ruiz (.343) had 2 hits including his 7th home run, and Freddy Galvis (.235) had 2 doubles, one to knock in a run early, and the other to start the 6-run rally late. Kyle Kendrick started and pitched well, going 6 ionnings, and allowing just 2 runs (only 1 earned) on just 3 hits, NO walks and 4 Ks, leaving the game with the score tied at 2-2.  Antonio Bastardo (1.50) threw another scorless frame, with 2 Ks.

In Totonto, Kyle Drabek was solid against the Yankeees in the Jays' 8-1 win.  Drabek (3-4) went 7 innings and gave up just 1 run on 3 hits and 4 walks, while striking out 5.  It was win #19 in the majors this year for former Claws.

In Anaheim, the Angels beat Gavin Floyd and the Sox, 7-2.  Gavin gave up 7 runs on 10 hits in 6 innings of work to slip to 3-4, 3.44 on the year.
