Phillies lose again to Mets

In Philadelphia Tuesday, the Phillies took a 4-0 lead after 2 innings, only to see the Mets rally for a 7-4 win.  Carlos Ruiz was 1 for 4, while Antonio Bastardo (.2 IP, 1 hit), Mike Schwimer (.2 IP, 2 runs, 1 hit, 1 walk, 2 Ks) and Joe Savery (.1 IP, 1 hit) all got into the game.

In Chicago, Michael Bourn extended his hitting streak to 12 games (19 for 54) with a single and scored the go-ahead run in the Braves 3-1 win over the Cubs. Adrian Cardenas made his first start since his call-up, playing second base and going 0 for 3.......In Milwaukee, the Brewers beat the Cincinnati, 8-3.  Alfredo Simon threw a 1-2-3  inning of relief for the Reds........In Phoenix, Mike Zagurski tossed a scoreless frame for the Diamondbacks in their 6-1 loss to St .Louis.........In Oakland, Michael Taylor was 1 for 4, but it was a double to lead off the 9th inning and start a 5-run game winning rally as the Athletics took a walk-off 7-3 win over Toronto on Brandon Inge's grand slam.
