Pigs rally for win

On a rainy, dreary day in Allentown, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs spotted the Charlotte Knights a 4-0 lead, before scoring 2 in the 7th, 2 in the 8th, and 1 in the 9th for a thrilling 5-4 win.  Tuffy Gosewisch's  single delivered Hector Luna with the winning run in walk-off fashion.  BJ Rosenberg threw 2 scoreless innings of relief, and Jacob Diekman came on in the top of the 9th inning with 2 outs and the bases full of Knights.  Not only did he get the Pigs out of the jam, he picked up the win when Gosewisch got his big hit!

Domonic Brown started the game,  but had to leave with tightness in his left hamstring.  Rich Thompson, who replaced him, ignited the IronPigs with 2 hits and 3 RBI.

I got to say hello to Greg Golson, who had 2 hits for the Knights, including a bullet RBI triple, before scoring himself on an error, and Derrick Mitchell, who had a walk and scored a run for Lehigh Valley.

It only rained on us for the first 3 innings.
