Ruiz' big game not enough

Carlos Ruiz (.329) had 2 doubles, a home run and 7 RBI for the Phillies Wednesday night, but the Braves took a wild 15-13 game from the visiting Phils in 11 innings.  Mark your calendars as the day Roy Halladay gave up a 6-0 lead, as this will not happen often!  Freddy Galvis (.192) had 1 for 6, with an RBI for Philadelphia, and Michael Bourn (.324) had a hit, a walk, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI for Atlanta.   Joe Savery (.2 IP, 1K), Antonio Bastardo (1-2-3 inning) and Mike Schwimer (.2 IP, 1 run, 1 hit, 3 inherited runners allowed to score) all got into this wild affair.

In Los Angeles, Angel pitcher Jared Weaver tossed a no-hitter at the Minnesota Twins.  Matt Maloney threw .2 innings of relief for the Twins, allowing 1 hit.
