Brown, d'Arnaud, Ruiz & Singleton

In New York Wednesday, the Philles took the rubber match of their series with the Mets, winning 10-6.  Carlos Ruiz, still sitting out with a bad leg, belted a 2-run pinch hit home run in the 7th inning to tie it at 3-3 and propel the Phils to victory.  Freddy Galvis was sitting out also, just for rest, but he came on late and walked and scored a run in the Phillies 6-run 9th.  Antonio Bastardo was the winning pitcher, throwing a scoreless frame for his 2nd victory.

That makes 28 major league wins for the HomeSide so far this season.

In Gwinnett, Domonic Brown (.264) had 3 more hits, including his 1st home run, as the IronPigs beat the Braves, 6-3.  It was the 4th multi-hit game for Dom in the last 5, and he is 9 for 21 (.429) in that stretch. The win went to BJ Rosenberg (1-0, 1.45) who gave up an unearned run in 1.2 innings........In Tampa, D'Arby Myers (.321) had 2 doubles, including one in the middle of the 4-run rally in the 8th inning, to help the Threshers defeat the Yankees, 5-4.  Zack Collier was 3 for 4,  and is 5 for 8 in 2 games since being activated.  Brody Colvin (3-4) was the winning pitcher, tossing 2 scoreless innings of relief.

In Tucson, red-hot Travis d'Arnaud (.328) had 3 more hits, including a double, drove in a run and scored another, and Anthony Gose extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a hit and an RBI as the Las Vegas 51s beat the Padres, 7-4.

In Reno, Randy Ruiz belted his 13th home run of the year, a 3-run shot to help pace the Aces to a 13-5 victory over Tacoma.   Randy lead the PCL with 51 RBI...........In Buffalo, the Bisons beat Columbus, 3-2 in 10 innings.  Jason Donald (.300) had a triple and scored a run for the Clippers................In North Little Rock, Jonathan Singleton hit his 10th home run of the year, and Josh Zeid recorded his 2nd victory of the season as the Hooks beat the Travelers, 3-2.
