Ruf, Bone lead R-Phils to win

In Reading, Darin Ruf (.389) had 3 more hits, including his 5th home run and a double, and drove in 4 runs to back great pitching from Jonathan Pettibone in a 5-1 win over Trenton.  "Bone" came up just 1 out short of a complete game, allowing just 1 run on 6 hits and 2 walks, to improve to 2-3, 3.98 on the year.

In Bradenton, Cody Asche and Cameron Rupp had 2 hits each, with Asche and Jeremy Barnes knocking a pair of  run apiece in the Threshers' 5-3 win over the Marauders.  Adam Morgan recorded his first win with 7 stellar frames, striking out 10, and yielding just 2 runs on 5 hits and NO walks.


In Indianapolis, the Indians shut out the IronPigs on just 5 hits.  Mike Spidale and Derrick Mitchell had 1 hit each in the 5-0 loss.......In Charlotee, Greg Golson (.315) had 3 hits and a walk, and scored 3 runs as the Charlotte Knights defeated Toledo, 5-4 in 14 innings, in the first game of a double header.  Quintin Berry's hitting streak was stopped despite 7 at bats for the Mud Hens.  The pair picked up 1 hit each in the nightcap, a 6-5 win for the Knights......In Jackson, Jason Jaramillo had a single and a double, and scored 2 runs for Huntsville, as the Stars beat the Generals, 4-2.  Jesus Sanchez (0.75) recorded his 2nd save with a scoreless 9th inning.
