The BlueClaws have released their opeing day roster, which includes a few familiar names.
Ryan Duke, Ervis Manzanillo, Brain Morgado and Colby Shreve (?) will return, with Nick Hernandez still on the DL.
Infielder Maikel Franco and Carlos Perdomo will also return for encores, along with outfielder Aaron Altherr.
Zack Collier starts the year on the DL, the result of a positive drug test at the end of last season. Zack was taking medication that is approved by the CBA, but failed to get the required approval for its use. The result is a 50 game suspension.
Jeff Lanning, Bill Rice and Eric Pettis have been released.
The Threshers have not yet released their roster (they are always among the last to do so).
