Miakel Franco had 3 hits Saturday, including a monster home run, and drove in 3 runs to lead the Lakewood BlueClaws to a resounding 14-4 win over the Suns. Everyone in the Lakewood lineup had a hit, with Aaron Altherr picking up a single and a double and 2 RBI, Brian Pointer had a hit and 2 walks and scored 3 times, and Guantlett Eldemire had a hit, a walk, scored twice and stole 2 more bases. Guantlett is 8 for 8 in steals so far and it appears Anthony Gose's team mark of 76 steals may be in jeopardy!!
Colin Kleven continued a run of very good starting pitching, giving up just 3 UNearned runs on 3 hits and 4 walks over 6 good innings, striking out 5 on the way to notch his first win of the season.
