breaking camp!

In the final game in Clearwater this spring, the Blue Jays topped the Phillies, 8-5. Carlos Ruiz had a single and a double in his 2 at bats, and Freddy Galvis went 0 for 4, seeing his spring average slide to .257. Tyler Knigge (1 run, 2 hits, 2 walks) and Juan Sosa (1-2-3 inning, 2 Ks) each threw an inning for Philadelphia, and Kevin Howard pinch hit for the Blue Jays.

In Lake Buena Vista, Michael Bourn was 1 for 3 for Atlanta in the Braves 2-1 loss to the Tigers. The Tigers have assigned Quintin Berry to AAA-Toledo where he will be the everyday center fielder, and probably the first call up if there is an injury on the major league level...........In Goodyear, the Rangers defeated the Indians, 7-4. Jason Donald was 0 for 1 in the game and Lou Marson 0 for 2 with an RBI.

With opening day just a few more days away, we will be keeping our eyes open for minor league rosters and assignments to see where all of our boys will begin the season. Some of that could happen as early as this afternoon.
