Pigs win again

The IronPigs made it 2 in a row over the Yankees with a 6-5 win in Allentown last night. Tuffy Gosewisch had a double and scored 2 runs, Derrick Mitchell was 1 for 3 with an RBI, Cody Overbeck had a double and 2 RBI and Domonic Brown was 0 for 3 with a walk. Austin Hyatt was the starter, working 5.2 innings, and allowing 4 run, just 2 earned, on 6 hits, NO walks and striking out 6 to receive no decision.

In Charlotte, Greg Golson made his debut for the Knights, going 0 for 3 in Charlotte's 6-5 opening day win over Norfolk.......In Toledo, Quintin Berry was 0 for 3, but walked twice and scored a run for the Mud Hens in Toledo's 5-1 win over Indianapolis..........In Omaha, Will Savage pitched 2 innings in relief for Albuquerque in their 5-2 win over the Storm Chasers. Will gave up a run on 3 hits and a walk, striking out 1 and picking up the win when the Isotopes scored 4 in the 7th to take the lead for good............In Iowa City, Adrian Cardenas was 0 for 4 for the Cubs in their 4-3 loss to Round Rock.......In Las Vegas, the 51s scored a run in the bottom of the 9th to beat Sacramento, 4-3. Michael Taylor had a hit and 2 more RBI (4 in 2 games) for the River Cats, while Anthony Gose was 1 for 5, and threw out a runner at third base, and Travis d'Arnaud had a hit and a walk, and stole a base for Vegas. Andrew Carpenter tossed 2 scoreless inning for the 51s..........In Reno, Randy Ruiz was 1 for 5 as the Aces defeated Colorado Springs, 9-5.
