Bourn back on track

The Phillies returned home from their western swing and dropped a 5-1 decision to the Cubs.   Carlos Ruiz (.298) and Freddy Galvis (.206) had one hit each, while Antonio Bastardo (.2 IP, 1 walk, 1 hit) and Mike Schwimer (1.1 IP, 2runs, 2 hits, 1 walk) each worked behind Roy Halladay, who took the loss.

In Cincinnati, the Astros topped the Reds, 6-4.  Alfredo Simon (2.79) tossed 1.1 scoreless innings in relief, giving up 2 hits and a walk, for the Reds........In Atlanta, the Braves defeated the Pirates, 6-1, Michael Bourn (.317) had 2 hits and started another hitting streak for Atlanta..........In St. Paul, the Twins lost a 7-6 game to the Royals.  Matt Maloney recorded an out, and stranded 2 inherited runners.
