AAA notes

The Lehigh Valley bullpen took over for the IronPigs Friday night. The scheduled starter, Kyle Kendrick was called up to the big club (see post below) and Lehigh went with a team effort. Jake Woods started and went the first 4, Francisco Butto got the next 4 outs, and Gary Majewski, Cedric Bowers and Tyler Walker all threw scoreless ball as the Pigs toughed out a 3-2, 10-inning win over Charlotte, with Walker notching the victory. Mike Spidale was 2 for 5, including a double and a run scored in his season debut for Lehigh Valley.

In Colorado Springs, Randy Ruiz (.313) had a single, a double and a home run (#11, and 2nd in 2 days) and drove in 3 runs (for a total of 54 RBI), but the 51s still lost to the SkySox, 11-9. In Reno, Chris Roberson belted a 3-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to give Reno a come from behind 6-4 win over Salt Lake. For Robey, it was home run #5, and 1 of 2 hits on the day. In New Orleans, Greg Golson (.284) had a double in 4 at bats in Oklahoma City's 6-4 win over the Zephyrs.
