The Phillies have called
Mike Spidale up from Reading to Lehigh Valley, and reassigned
Jeremy Slayden back to the R-Phils. Slayden proceeded to belt a game winning, pinch-hit grand slam home run in the bottom of the 9th inning to give Reading a 6-3 win over Trenton.
Vance Worley started for Reading, going 6 innings, allowing just 2 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks.
Angel Castro threw the final 3 frames and posted the win.
Quintin Berry had 2 hits, including a home run to raise his average to .280.
