Josh Outman improved to 3-0 on the year, defeated the White Sox, 5-3 Wednesday night. Josh gave up a 2-run home run to Jermaine Dye in the 1st inning, but settled in to throw 6.2 strong innings, allowing just 1 more UNearned run on a total of 7 hits and 1 walk, striking out 2 to drop his ERA to 3.02.
With Bastardo winning Tuesday night, Outman getting one tonight, and J. A. Happ leading San Diego 3-0 in the 6th inning, the HomeSide is on the verge of notching 3 major league wins in about 24 hours!! How cool is that?
