Live from rainy Delmarva

I am in Salisbury, Maryland where the BlueClaws and the Shorebirds are trying to play an important series, but Mother Nature is refusing to cooperate. The teams did get one 7-inning game in last night before the rain washed out the second game. The Shorebirds won, 2-1 on an infield hit with 2 down in the bottom of the 7th by Garabez Rosa off Santo Hernandez. Jason Knapp started and threw his 2nd straight good game, giving up just 1 run on 3 hits over 5 innings, walking 2 and striking out 6.

We will try to play 2 again tonight, beginning at 5:00, but the weather is not promising.
