Lakewood gains split with comeback win

The Lakewood BlueClaws kept their lead over the Delmarva Shorebirds at 2.5 games with a come from behind 6-5 win in the nightcap of Saturday's doubleheader. Steve Susdorf had 3 hits, including 2 doubles, and 3 RBI to pace the Lakewood attack, and Anthony Gose and Troy Hanzawa added 2 hits and a stolen base each. For Gose it was #37.

One game of the scheduled 4-game set was unable to be played due to the rain, so we will make it up here in Lakewood on Monday (June 15) when the Shorebirds make their final visit of the first half. In the meantime, Lakewood will open a 4 game series at home with Hagerstown on Monday night, Delmarva will travel to Lake County to battle the Captains. The BlueClaws are 32-22 with 16 games to play in the first half.
