Hammerheads top Threshers

In the battle of the sharks, the Jupiter Hammerheads defeated the Clearwater Threshers, 7-2 Friday night. Brett Harker, who is being used as a starter now by the Marlins, went the first 4 frames for Jupiter and only gave up 1 unearned run on 2 hits and 1 walk, striking out 4. Darren Byrd took the loss for Clearwater, giving up 3 runs, 2 earned on 8 hits in his 4 innings. Jesus Villegas had a single, a triple and a walk and scored both runs for the Threshers.

The teams will fight it out again tonight, Mike Cisco (2-0) get the nod for Clearwater.
