Drabek wins AA Debut

Kyle Drabek continues to impress. Coming off a complete game shut out in his last start for Clearwater, Kyle made his AA debut and put up 7 more zeros! No runs, 3 hits, 3 walks, 3 strike outs and a victory, as reading beat Akron, 6-1. Quintin Berry had a 2-run double in support of Drabek as Reading was their 2nd straight game.

Meanwhile, back in Florida, Carlos Monasterios threw 5 shut out innings, and Dominic Brown belted his 9th home run, and 3rd in 2 days, as the Threshers edged Fort Myers, 2-1. Brown now has 38 RBI and is hitting .320, and Monasterios improved to 3-3, with a 2.61 ERA.

Lakewood was rained out in Delamrva. I will be be heading down there to catch the rest of that series, which will be 4 games in 3 days, weather permitting.
