Floyd sharp again

Although the bullpen blew the save and stole his win, Gavin Floyd flashed his form again on Thursday, throwing 8 innings for the White Sox against Detroit. Gavin, who is 4-5 on the year, allowed just 1 run on 5 hits, NO walks, and struck out 5 leaving the game with 3-1 lead. Bobby Jenks gave up the game tying home run in the top of the 9th and was awarded the win when the Sox tallied in the bottom half for a 4-3 win.

Matt Maloney will make his 2nd major league start tonight for the Reds in Kansas City.
