Senators veto R-Phils

The Harrisburg Senators ripped the Reading Phillies 11-0 Friday night, allowing the R-Phils just 3 hits. Mike Stutes started and went 5.2 innings, allowing 3 runs, all on solo homers. Jason Mackintosh and Pat Overholt were lit up for 4 runs each and the game got out of hand late. Chance Chapman did throw a scoreless top of the 9th, and Zack Segovia a scoreless bottom half for the Senators . Both Chapman and Segovia struck out 2 of the 3 hitters they faced. Brian Staviski (2) and Quintin Berry had the only hits for Reading.

Tyson Brummett (3-6) will go tonight.

In Mobile, Brian Schlitter came into a 9th inning jam for the Smokies, and promptly struck out 2 hitters in a row to end the game, and record his 9th save in Tennessee's 5-3 win over the Bay Bears.
